Posted by Bouffard on August 30, 2016 at 8:35 PM
Whether you intend to pre-register online or just register at-the-door, if you have any desire to buy, sell, or just browse at our Wargamer's Flea Market on Sunday, October 9th, please visit the page link below and fill in the form at the top of that page.

You will be under no obligation if you do, but hearing from you will help us organize the space needed that morning.

New Speaker: James Thomas

Posted by Bouffard on August 30, 2016 at 2:20 PM

Very pleased to announce that James Thomas, who has lectured at our events before, will be returning again on Sunday, October 9th, to present, "Leaders Gone Wild, Learning From the Mistakes of Military and Naval Officers".

New Sponsor: Aran & Franklin Engineering

Posted by Bouffard on August 30, 2016 at 2:20 PM

I'd like to take this opportunity to recognize a very special partner.

Aran & Franklin Engineering has come forward, thanks to the efforts of James Womack, and agreed to underwrite the costs of our convention t-shirts!!

Please join me in thanking James for supporting our efforts. With this gesture we will now be able to donate 100% of all t-shirt sales to the Battleship Texas Foundation!

So, why not order a t-shirt today, and pre-register for our event while you are at it, to save on postage and the admission fee? You'll help our great cause and have fun while doing it. There is no more unusual venue to play historic wargames at than the USS TEXAS.

Whales, Memoirs, and Battle Crys

Posted by Bouffard on August 30, 2016 at 2:15 PM

We've got some more games to announce today (I'll be adding them to our online schedule later). Andy Blozinski will play host to a game simulating the hunt for Moby Dick, as part of our Rootbeer and Pretzels wargame series on Saturday, October 8th.

Also, Duane Fields will be running a session on Memoir 44 and another session of Battle Cry!, on Sunday, October 9th.

Finally, I'll be adding a Bulge based game, in 28mm, using "Buck" Surdu's Combat Patrol: WWII on Sunday morning.
